Coming-of-age story: especially for the newly turned teenagers -- 13, or for the newly turned teenager in all of us.
As a mother of three amazing teenager daughters, I wrote this story especially for each of them with the help of my youngest daughter's inspiration. A story to carry in one's heart, as you journey through the years ahead with the type of courage and inquisitiveness that Little Heart exhibited in the story.
May this story be like a backpack (just as the one in the above picture). A backpack filled with little wisdoms and small jewels to ponder in the form of little hearts. A story that can grow with you, as you grow and as you become your own kind of brave.
